How our verdicts are made

Gear is evaluated on the things that matter in a real kitchen — heat behavior, durability, ergonomics, cleanup — using the best available evidence: independent lab testing, thousands of owner reports, and our own cooking as the test kitchen grows. Which is which is always labeled; the full method lives athow we test. When a piece can't earn a spot, we say so.
